In 2023, Lebanon reaffirmed its role as a regional cultural hub by hosting the annual arts awards, organized under the sponsorship of UNESCO and the CSH. The event brought together a distinguished assembly of artists, cultural leaders, and international guests in a celebration of artistic excellence and creative expression.

The ceremony honored several prominent artists for their contributions to the visual arts. Among the highlights of the evening was the strong reception of works by Mohamad Azizeh, whose paintings drew significant admiration from attendees.
